Apart from capers and cucunci, the leaves of the caper plant are also edible and go very well with various dishes.
The “Foglie di Cappero” have a very tasty, distinctive flavour with an excellent balance between tanginess and a pleasant sour note.
They are delicious with all fish and meat dishes, as an addition to salads or chilled as antipasto.
